SUMMARY:
Established small and medium size accounting and auditing firms in the Western Cape are looking for SAICA / SAIPA article clerks for a 3 - 5 year trainee contract.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements:

Busy completing or completed Bcompt / Bcom Acc / Bcom Financial Management / -Accounting Degree
Computer literate
No criminal record
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Be available to work overtime from time to time
Hard working, reliable and able to take own initiative
Driver’s License and own vehicle or reliable transport
South African Citizenship

Job specifications:

Clerks will be required to perform work such as accounting work, drawing up of financial statements, auditing as well as various types of tax returns. Clerks will also be required to resolve queries at governing bodies such as SARS on behalf of the clients and to communicate and provide feedback to clients regarding the progress of their work.
