SAICA Finance Professionals

SUMMARY:
Are you a SAICA‑qualified Finance Professional with 3–5 years post‑article experience and a passion for the Energy, Renewables, Utilities or Power sectors? I am building a high‑calibre Finance Talent Pool for leading organisations in Cape Town that are scaling, investing in new projects, and strengthening strategic finance.
This is not a live vacancy, but an opportunity to be considered for upcoming roles across Finance Manager, Senior Financial Accountant, FP&A Analyst, and Head of Finance pipelines.

POSITION INFO:

Oversee month‑end close, balance sheet integrity, and financial reporting in compliance with IFRS
Develop and manage annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis
Provide commercial insights to operations, projects, and leadership teams to support investment decisions
Lead and strengthen financial controls, compliance frameworks, tax submissions, and audit processes
Support strategic initiatives such as project finance, capex reviews, feasibility assessments, and scenario modelling
 
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years post‑articles experience
Exposure to Energy, Utilities, Renewables, Engineering, or Projects highly advantageous
Advanced proficiency in Excel and modern ERP/BI systems
Strong technical grounding in IFRS, reporting and financial governance
Ability to analyse complex data and present actionable commercial insights
Comfortable working in fast‑paced, project‑driven environments
Strong stakeholder engagement across finance, operations, and leadership teams
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
