SUMMARY:
Company in Krugersdorp is looking for a young, vivacious, and robust Safety Intern with a degree in Safety Management. 12 Month contract gaining expert knowledge, skills, and experience in the manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO:

My client based in Krugersdorp is seeking a young, dynamic, and true go-getter in the role of Safety Intern. This is a 12 month contract period offering a salary of R8k per month. An excellent position where you will obtain knowledge, skills, and expertise in the manufacturing environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum: National certificate/diploma in Health / Safety Management
Advantageous: Degree in Safety Management or relevant domain.
Age range: 22 – 25 years.

REQUIREMENTS:

Medically fit
Knowledge of the OHSAct.
Driving license
Computer literacy
Communication skills
Robust, energetic, and true “go-getter” required.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

Monitor/enforce health and safety act compliance
Record and file health and safety documents
Attend all safety meetings and training.
Talk to supervisors about any safety risks
Write and report all near misses and safety incidents to the Supervisor/manager.
Report weekly to Factory Manager regarding all safety and health issues.
