Appointment: Permanent, full-time position

Area: Centurion, Gauteng

Salary: R 9 000-00 per month

 

  • PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE SURROUNDING THE SHEQ ADMINISTRATION AND PROCEDURES AN ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT – do not apply if you do not have Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality background.
  • To work as part of the SHEQ team, providing administrative support across a range of SHEQ day to day duties. The role will also include taking overall responsibility for administrative support in relation to maintaining data quality.
  • Responsible for all filing within the department and ensure security and confidentiality of all filing procedures
  • Copies of documentation for record keeping with regards of the Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality standards of a large company
  • Getting ID copies form HR
  • Updating of IOD files for record keeping
  • Typing of SHEQ meeting minutes
  • Keep updated list of PPEs provided to employees
  • Filing of weekly / monthly risk assessments reports
  • Keeping updated records of all statutory training – update monthly and inform SHE Officers on training requirements
  • Manage the administration of forms and documentation
  • Keeping record of first aid boxes and information on minor IOD’s for SHE Officers reports
  • Assist in processing SHEQ audits to ensure timely and accurate performance levels are met
  • Able to manage own time effectively, whilst working to tight deadlines
  • Basic IT skills, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and interpersonal skills and the ability to challenge constructively
  • Effective team working and networking skills and the ability to work independently using own initiative
  • The ability to plan, prioritize and organize own workload
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Tolerant and sympathetic
