JOB REQUIREMENTS

Required qualifications to meet the grade

Minimum of 5 years experience in road logistics within SADC

Minimum of 2 years experience in a managerial position

Proven track record

Available immediately to start

Responsibilities include:

Management of staff and all HR related matters

Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.

Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers.

organising shipments

Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle.

coordinating drivers, vehicles, loads and journeys timeously

operating IT systems to manage timings, costs and stock levels

analysing data to assess performance, discover logistical problems and devise plans for improvements

negotiating and agreeing contracts

planning for and negotiating technical difficulties

preparing paperwork for regulatory bodies

liaising with and managing staff and shifts

monitoring stock and managing waste

ensuring health and safety standards are met.
