SUMMARY:
The purpose of the role is to plan, organise, coordinate and facilitate the risk activities for the company. The function is also required to assist in the management of the outsourced broker.

POSITION INFO:

Possess a grade 12 certificate or equivalent
Have relevant degree or diploma
Have at least 3 years'' experience in facilitating risk workshops and updating of risk register
Ability to understand an apply risk management methodology
Have strong planning, analytical and computer skills
Have good interpersonal skills
Be able to interact independently with business partners, external advisors and required regulatory and legislative entities
Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Be self-motivated, highly dependable and be able to work within a team environment
Be a self-starter and be able to plan the work efficiently to meet deadlines
Have sound financial related administrative experience
Possess detailed knowledge and understanding of financial standards, policy and practise, specifically applicable to the mining environment
Possess understanding of ISO-----, King IV and COSO ERM framework
Have an understanding the Mines Health and Safety Act, SOX Legislation, NEMA and other relevant legislation
Be competent in consolidation techniques for risk
Be competent in general financial administration matters
Have experience in presenting and reporting risk statistics to Management
Have good people skills

Relevant diploma/degree
CRISK/CISA
Internal or external audit experience
Having performed data analytics
Previous experience in writing risk management frameworks, guidelines and policies
Have prior exposure to ICMM principles and its application
Prior work experience in a mining or manufacturing environment
Experience working on SAP GRC
