Join one of the world’s largest luxury FMCG brand as a Revenue and Category Growth Manager. My client is looking for an experienced professional who will develop strategy and deliver projects that drive Category Growth and improve portfolio profitability.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
 
  • Analysing data, customer, brand and business needs to provide actionable recommendations that support achievement of strategic objectives
  • Driving revenue growth and portfolio profitability
  • Understanding and presenting market, consumer & shopper data/trends as well as insights relating to trade presence (execution & positioning)
  • Providing insights & recommendations to achieve business objectives and enable successful Revenue Growth Management deployment
  • Developing and agreeing category/brand strategies to support business objectives
  • Providing consistent and regular communication/updates to key internal stakeholders
  • Regular reviewing and assessment of strategy to quantify impact as well as ensure relevance and optimization
  • Ensuring follow-through of recommendations agreed by the business/customer
  • Building and maintaining collaborative working relationships with external stakeholders to ensure favourable representation in trade
  • Leading category management projects and rollouts: from compiling shelf layouts/flow recommendations, providing range recommendations to guiding on broader business on products and shopper strategy
  • Providing listing/range strategy by customer, channel or market
  • Providing recommendations based on analysis of trends and optimization opportunities
  • Driving Customer Value Chain understanding across business
  • Preparing Customer Strategy reviews
 
The ideal candidate has:
 
  • 5 years’ experience in an analytical role within an FMCG environment
  • BCom Commerce, Marketing or Finance
  • Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of space planning and category growth is advantageous
