Retail Trainee Manager

A reputable and established Retail Clothing Company is looking for a self-motivated Trainee Manager to look after the Southern Cape region. The person will be responsible for optimizing sales and exceed customer expectations through the implementation of the operations strategy and effectively managing staff.

Requirements

• Matric Certification
• Own reliable vehicle and license essential
• Fluent in English and a second official South African Language
• Ability to travel from store to store
• Minimum of 2 years retail experience
• Minimum 1 year is a supervisory and management within a retail environment, preferably clothing
• Further qualifications related to retail/business will be an advantage
• Must be an energic individual who takes initiative

Skills, Attributes, and Experience

• Merchandise Management, Stock, and Cost Control Skills.
• Excellent Customer Service.
• Maintain high store standards
• Proven ability to influence and lead a team.
• Must be inspired to develop yourself and fellow team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) and competence in a second official language would be a definite advantage
