SUMMARY:

An established retail store, specializing in Horse Feed, equipment and accessories is seeking an energetic Sales Assistant to assist walk-in customers and monitoring the sales floor, including inventory and displays.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


Minimum requirements for the role:
  • Must have a National Senior Certificate
  • A tertiary qualification or work experience, with a good track record would be ideal
  • Must be confidence with good communication skills and be able to work under pressure
  • Some experience in animal or agriculture would be preferred

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Greeting customers and offering assistance in the shop.
  • Recommending products or merchandise according to customers’ requirements.
  • Answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Informing customers about sales, promotions and policies.
  • Demonstrating how products work.
  • Taking payments for purchases and packing purchases.
  • Stocking merchandise and creating displays.
  • Taking inventory and monitoring the sales floor.
Salary package, including benefits, are highly negotiable depending on experience gained
