POSITION INFO:

Our client in the Retail Industry is looking for a dynamic and innovative Retail Project Manager to join their team. They are based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape.

The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the clients retail footprint/ brands across all stores.

Requirements:

• BCom in Project Management, Bachelor of Science in Project Management will be advantageous
• 3-4 Years’ experience in related role
• Exceptional management, planning, human resource skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and follow-through
• Superior communication skills both verbal and written
• Proficient computer skills
• You have a keen eye for detail – Innovative
• Excellent organizational skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Valid Driver’s License

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Defining and communicating the vision and how this aligns to business strategy
• Understanding the business case and refining the project to maximise benefits and minimise costs
• Manage all phases of projects from design conception through procurement, store lay out and project closeout
• Supporting and coaching the project team to ensure deliverables are successfully produced
• Manage project budgets and schedules
• Reports
• Responsible for the completion of projects within the established timelines and budget
• Communicate and report the status of budgets and schedules to internal partners
• Supervise all on-site activities
• Manage a project end-to-end and keep team on stringent timelines throughout that process
• Adapt to each situation quickly and drive full ownership of your project
• Problem Solving - you are able to troubleshoot quickly and timeously
• Innovative - look for opportunities to make things better and faster (without compromising quality)
• Resolving issues and minimise risk by taking corrective measures. Keeping a solution focused manner when investigating problems
• Running a project team meeting
• Writing or reviewing project management docs
• Visiting stores to observe the operation and collect data or feedback
