Retail Operations Manager

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

 Position - Retail Operations Manager

Required - previous experience as an Area Sales Manager or similar within the FMCG Sales / Distribution industry or Electronic sales / distribution industry.

Must have Matric

Ideally a tertiary qualification in Sales

8 - 10 years’ experience in a Senior Retail Operations position within FMCG/Electronic industry.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities ( not limited to)

Manage SOH weekly to ensure sufficient stock to meet sales demand for forecasted coming months and if starting to run low, then order or demand plan is submitted to ensure that there is continuous supply

Submission of monthly SOH reports for iTunes, Google and Microsoft detailing opening stock, stock movement and closing stock

Manage returns to the warehouse by booking cards/displays back into stock

Responsible for the development and maintenance of business processes and systems for the Retail Operations domain and to cater for new systems and product enhancements to make and improve process efficiency within the retail environment

Compile and Manage Capex budget for stand manufacture, collateral and training in collaboration with relevant Key account managers

Compile and Manage Opex budget for merchandising, warehousing & distribution costs and ensure no overspends on monthly budgetManage costs on merchandising, warehousing and distribution to maximise Stellr profitability by checking and approving billings

Manage and grow in-store display universe by negotiating additional space and prime locations within each of the retailers

Code 08 drivers licence and own vehicle

Clear criminal record

Sometimes required to work outside office hours
