Job Responsibilities:
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Meeting monthly sales targets as set you by management.
- Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- You are to keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- To monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- You are to recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- To resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- You are to maintain a professional and ethical demeanour at all times by attending meetings timeously.
- You are to provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- To be a team player and ensure team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Work Hours & Benefits:
- 8am -5pm
- Working remotely and reporting to the office once a week
- Attend sales and training meetings
- Inhouse training
- Reporting to management once a week
Qualifications and Skills:
- Customer service 10 years sales experience and more
- Must meeting sales targets on a monthly basis
- Progressive Closing skills
- Strong Territory management
- Proactive Prospecting skills
- Strong Negotiation Skills
- Self-confidence
- Proficient in Industrial Hardware Product knowledge
- Presentation skills
- Strong in building client relationships
- Proficient Motivation for sales Call to Action- you need a compelling call to action to turn them into applicants.
Education:
- Matric/ Grade 12 a MUST
- Own reliable vehicle a MUST
- Own up to date laptop a MUST
- You must be fluent and extremely well spoken in English, Afrikaans a plus factor
- Marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration tertiary education preferred but not essential.
- 10 years and more of industry sales experience a must
- Proficient within retail Hardware industry a must.
- Call to Action- you need a compelling call to action to turn them into applicants.
- Only candidates who meet the above requirements will be considered.
- Must have 5 years or more in previous employment in Retail Hardware Sales
