Retail Digital Campaign Manager - Cape Town

SUMMARY:
Our client a large national and international retailer based in Cape Town Brackenfell is looking for an experienced Retail Digital Campaign Manager to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

To provide daily support to the Brand Manager with regards to the day-to- day management of Website, Social, Mailer, Paid Media and content production.

Key duties include being responsible planning, briefing, budgeting, tracking and reporting for digital activity across the brand. Conduct research and utilise insights to optimise and grow the success of owned media and paid digital channels. Managing a portfolio of work as well as working with brand teams across the department to create integrated marketing campaigns. A strong dedication to organisation is required in this busy department.

Digital Campaign Management

• •Assist the wider brand team with strategies and/or tactics for website, social, mailer and paid digital marketing activities.
• •Liaise with agencies and brand teams directly for creative and media campaign briefs, requirements, schedules, reporting and feedback.
• •Keep the brand up to date with changes and advances in the digital marketing landscape and advising on new channels and approaches to adopt.

 Digital Account Management

• •A strong ability to keep schedules, prioritise tasks / briefs and ensure campaigns / projects are on time and deliver against business objectives.  
• •Manage the company’s daily and monthly social media calendar. Ensure learning’s from each month are shared across business to ensure continued improvement in our social efforts.
• •Develop a strong understanding of the Brand and its Guidelines to be able to apply across all work done on digital.

 Stakeholder Liaison

• •Liaise with internal departments as required
• •Liaise with external agencies and provide support in executing effective digital plans

  Digital Research & Reporting

• •Conduct weekly reports on digital activity for senior stakeholders.
• •Monitor Local & International Retailers digital media properties to ensure adherence to best practice principles, and provide technical/media assistance when needed.
• •Grow and oversee the digital communities, track and report all activity and ensure all brand campaign objectives are being achieved.

 Digital Budget Allocation & Management

• •Ensure budgets are utilised against business requirements & brand objectives.
• •Review live paid media and optimise to reach goals and objectives.
• •Monitor and evaluate the return on investment on digital marketing activities.

• Qualifications Desirable: 
• •Diploma or equivalent in Digital Advertising, Marketing or Communications (2 -3 years)
• Experience Essential: •Social Media (3 - 4 years) •Brand Marketing (3-4 years) •Digital Marketing (3-4 years) Desirable: •Advertising (3-4 years)
