Retail Creditors Clerk - Namibia

SUMMARY:
A large retail concern in Namibia is looking for a Creditors Clerk to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirement:

1. Namibian citizen
2. Retail industry experience (min 3 years) - preferred Food Retail
3. Matric
4. Relevant post Matric Certificate

Duties:

• To maintain and reconcile the Creditors Ledger, Cashbook entries, EFT payments for C.O.D’S and other.
• Manages creditors/suppliers invoices, reconciliation of creditors, statements and preparation of payments remittance advice of monies due.
• Liaising with customers ensuring customers pay on a timely basis
• Obtaining remits for allocations of customer receipts
• Setting up new customers and assessing credit terms
• Producing weekly debtor reports and presenting to management
• Forecasting customer receipts on a rolling 8-week basis
• Completing monthly bank reconciliations
• Posting purchase invoices on system
