POSITION INFO:
A polished, professional Restaurant Supervisor with experience in managing busy, premium dining environments. Skilled in leading service teams, overseeing daily operations, enhancing guest experience, and ensuring smooth service flow. Confident, well-presented, and passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality while maintaining high operational standards.
Minimum Requirements

• Matric or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a restaurant or hotel environment
• Valid South African ID (no work permits)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced establishments
• Excellent knowledge of food, beverage and service standards
• Ability to manage teams, resolve guest concerns and uphold brand standards

• Team supervision, coaching and on-the-floor leadership
• Guest interaction and service recovery
• Opening and closing procedures
• Stock control, ordering and daily operational checks
• Cash-up and POS oversight
• Staff scheduling and service briefing
• Maintaining hygiene, safety and compliance
• Ensuring smooth service flow across FOH
• Upselling and menu knowledge
• Coordination with kitchen and bar teams

• Supervised daily restaurant operations to ensure consistent, quality service
• Led FOH teams during peak service, ensuring efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Handled guest queries, complaints and service recovery professionally
• Conducted floor checks, maintained cleanliness and ensured compliance
• Performed cash-ups, POS oversight and shift reporting
• Assisted with stock counts, ordering and cost control
