Restaurant Manager / Operator - Mthatha

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager / Operator for a permanent vacancy based in Mthatha, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

 

• Matric with relevant Franchisee qualification
• Fluent in English with Xhosa advantageous and good computer literacy (MS Office)
• Minimum 8 years restaurant experience, 3 years of which in management role in a franchise environment
• Proficient in all aspects of Pilot system and general hospitality software
• Experience in hospitality standards, financial reports and budget performance

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Manage financial procedures and stock levels
• Manage food costs and ensure budgets are achieved
• Ensure standards are implemented by Franchisor and comply with all checklist evaluations
• Ensure proper maintenance / cleanliness / policies and services are adhered to
• Oversee staff time and attendance and performance management
• Achieve training standards / targets and manage recruitment process
• Ensure compliance with Franchisor’s health & safety requirements
• Institute marketing strategies at store level, on an ongoing basis

 

Salary: R18 000.00 pm CTC (including Provident fund)
