SUMMARY:
Our client in Sedgefield on the Garden Route is recruiting for a  energetic and experienced Franchise Restaurant manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB DESCRIPTION 
Stock:
-    Ensure correct ordering process (timeously), order quantities, receiving procedure, bin cards and stock counts on all products
-    Ensure correct receiving storing procedure, dating, stock rotation and the recording of these
-    Ensure that Bin Cards are kept accurately and correspond to stock counts
-    Ensure correct stock issue and return procedures are followed, never break the cold chain
-    Pay specific attention to the issue of condiments and the control of these
-    Ensure correct operational procedure as far as cross contamination is concerned
-    Ensure Famous Brands compliance to products ordered
-    Ensure Famous Brands Checklists are done on time
-    Ensure that stock counts are done every Monday and uploaded on Drop Box

Sales:
-    Check and maintain correct recipes on Branch
-    Check and ensure correct product codes on Branch
-    Check and ensure correct selling prices linked to product codes
-    Always be visible on the Wimpy floor and interact with customers
-    Address customer complaints
Grill, Soft serve ops:
-    Ensure that all staff is trained in HSEQ and understand their responsibility
-    Ensure Famous brands compliance to HSEQ and food preparation
-    Ensure correct temperature checks are done every 2 hours
-    Inspect crockery and cutlery weekly and check for shortages, ensure correct washing up procedure
-    Ensure correct storage of raw materials
-    Ensure correct prep procedure
-    Ensure correct cleaning procedure
-    All meals leaving grill area must be inspected my either management or Supervisor
-    Enforce a “Clean as you Go” policy with all staff

Maintenance:
-    Check and ensure continuous and correct maintenance of all equipment
-    Ensure that staff understand how to use equipment to limit unnecessary maintenance and brake downs
-    Control scheduling of preventative maintenance, especially on Coffee machine and extractor cleaning, in accordance with Famous Brands SOP’s
-    Ensure that the “Play Area” are kept clean and sanitised regularly
Staff:
-    Ensure that all staff are tested and trained regularly, according to Famous Brands SOP’s
-    Always ensure correct uniform for all staff in various areas of operations
-    Check staff daily for hygiene purposes
-    Do staff rostering
-    Control staff leave applications

Marketing:
-    Ensure that Brand Marketing, new Menu launces etc is in place on time
-    Drive In Store marketing together with John, develop new marketing ideas and community involvement
-    Implement and track marketing initiatives and provide feedback
-    Ensure that all Brand Posters and advertising material is in place as per Brand SOP’s

Technology:
-    Staff I Pad Training
-    Any new technology introduced by Famous Brands
