Restaurant Manager – Garden Route – Western Cape

POSITION INFO:

Our clients in the hospitality industry are looking for a Restaurant Manager.

Requirement:

• Gaap Pos experience
• Microsoft office

About you:

• A positive and ambitious mindset.
• Self-motivation and a passion for hospitality.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in a previous high customer turnover restaurant.
• Management experience, including wine, staff training & hygiene.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
• Effectively delegate jobs and responsibilities to restaurant staff.
• Communicate with management across the company to ensure effective running of the business as well customer satisfaction.
• Work with management personnel to set targets and incentives to increase the turnover and profitability of the restaurant.
• Review and monitor, with a bookkeeper or other financial personnel, expenditures to ensure that they conform to budget limitations. Work to improve performance.
• Supervise the operation of the restaurant to maximize profitability.
• Monitor the purchasing of supplies and perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of preparation and service.
• Work with management personnel to plan and organize restaurant events.
