Covering specialities – All Pharmacies Groups/Independents/Dis-Chem/Clicks – Dermatology and Respiratory portfolio
JOB PURPOSE
To Promote sales in and out of Pharmacies and service all Clients (Pharmacies) allocated to you and build strong relationships with these clients. To execute Marketing strategy in field and ensure visibility of Glenmark Products in these pharmacies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma / Degree
Tertiary Qualifications in Science/ Sales and Marketing or business
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3- 5 years Healthcare/ Pharmaceutical experience with at least 1 year in either Respiratory/Dermatology products/industry
Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry
Computer Literacy
Valid Driver’s license and own vehicle

Key Job Functions
• Promoting products to Targeted Pharmacies.
• Liaise and persuade target Responsible Pharmacist (Buyer) to sell our products utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis.
• Selling and promoting against sales targets and achieve territory plan objectives.
• Implementation and execution of value-added programs across territory.
• Territory management and developing a routine call cycle for all customers within the allocated territory.
• Build relationships with target customers to enhance product knowledge and gain product endorsement in order to generate sales.
• Ensure all target customers are fully informed of the product range, correct product application /dosages by means of regular trainings and one-on-one detailing.
• General admin: Consolidating monthly expenses, weekly call planner and feedback on infield activities to Area sales Manager.
• Travel to defined geographies to promote products.
• Organizing appointments and meetings with targeted pharmacies.
• Identifying and establishing new businesses in your area.
• Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage.
• Meeting both the business and scientific needs of the healthcare professional Responsible pharmacist.
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problem, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
• Reviewing sales performance in monthly reviews and present territory.
• Attend company meetings, technical data presentation and briefings.
• Uplift any products if required.
• Building of displays/ Gondola ends.
