SUMMARY:
FMHA OPPORTUNITY - RESIDENTIAL CO-ORDINATOR (in George).

POSITION INFO:

We (Fancourt Master Homeowners Association) are offering an exciting career opportunity for an individual in the property management and hospitality industry.

We are looking for a person who enjoys a fast-paced environment, who can deliver on the expectations of the members and guests of upmarket estate, who understands the importance of quality management and service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Your responsibility as a Residential Co-ordinator would be to ensure that:

  • Liaise and respond promptly to member queries and requests;
  • Control, co-ordinate and follow up on pending items;
  • Provide feedback promptly and efficiently;
  • Activate keys and review access provided to contractors;
  • Process reservations;
  • Prepare and review weekly arrivals list;
  • Liaise with labour broker regarding labour requirements;
  • Charge charges on Member accounts;
  • Source quotations from service providers;
  • Co-ordinate repairs and oversee contractors work performance;
  • Assist with after hour emergencies, when doing standby once a month.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: This position requires:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent;
  • Knowledge of technology (software and hardware) and advanced competency in MS Office are essential;
  • Strong admin and interpersonal skills.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND BEHAVIOURS:

The role requires someone who is competent in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all organisational levels (in writing or verbal), establishing and maintaining constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, making decisions and solving problems, organising, planning, and prioritising work. The ideal candidate will also be diligent, act with integrity, can practice self-control, has a high stress tolerance, is a team player and can be appropriately assertive.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate skills in terms of the following key work activities:

  • Developing, implementing and upholding service standards and norms;
  • Guest service management; customer complaint / problem resolution.
