SUMMARY:
Our Client in the Engineering Industry based in Edenvale is looking for a Resident Engineer/Civil Technician to join their team.
Salary is R15 000 - R20 000 CTC per month
POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
- 2+ years’ experience
- Must have a valid driver's licence
- Experience working on civil engineering infrastructure
Key Responsibilities:
- Consultation with the client or client's authorized representative
- Preliminary investigation, planning and a level of design appropriate to allow decisions
- Consultation with authorities having rights or powers of sanction as well as consultation with the public and stakeholder groups
- Report writing and presentation skills
- Inspection of the project site
- Searching for, obtaining, investigating and collating available data, drawings and plans
