SUMMARY: Reservations Assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a Reservations Assistant for a Travel Company. This is an entry level position with the opportunity to grow.
Experience required:Tourism/Travel-Related Qualification (degree/diploma/certificate) preferable 1-2 years administration experience Excellent written and verbal English Computer literate with at least a basic working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel Some understanding of a reservation’s environment is advantageous Knowledge of Tourplan advantageous or any other reservations system
Duties include:Reconfirmation of consultant files Checking Tourplan Checking and saving lodge day sheet Expanding product knowledge through attending training sessions Receipting bookings when payment received Assisting consultants with capturing information in the bookings Assisting the reservation team with daily reports Checking availability for the reservations team Assist with making provisional bookings with 3rd party suppliers
