SUMMARY:
This company has won awards regarding company culture and are requiring a Reporting Accountant to join their fast-growing team of achievers.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities could be shared with financial accountants):
Will report to Financial Manager and 2nd in charge of finance department
Weekly operational financial results reports to prepare from POS systems / BI systems
Weekly stock transfer reports to resolve discrepancies
Weekly and monthly Franchisor reporting submissions

As well as assisting the finance department with:
Developing business processes and internal controls
Cashflow forecasting and scheduling
Stock-take and results analysis
SARS and franchisor audits

Skills & Experience:
High English proficiency
Highly computer literate
Advanced in Excel (Non-negotiable)
Previous experience in a similar type of role (Non-negotiable)
Previous experience in Retail (Advantageous)
Excellent reconciliation & financial technical skills
Pastel Evolution and Payroll knowledge (Advantageous)

Qualification:
BCom Accounting degree with completed articles
Minimum 5 years post article experience
