Rental Shutdown Services Technician (learnership)

• Ensure successful execution and completion of Rental projects throughout the rental lifecycle
• Configure, calibrate, and maintain rental equipment as required.
• Periodically be deployed to customer’s sites depending on day-to-day operational requirements.
• Promote customer satisfaction through proactive, professional communication with the Customer.
•  Support warehouse/logistics to locate and pack customer orders for shipment. Prepare proper shipping information, hazardous material information and label accurately
• Contribute to service growth by seeking and developing sales/service opportunity leads that promote product sales and rental activities.
• Contacting potential customers to arrange meetings and/or service the allocated range of products
• Contacting customers to check quality and satisfaction of the products and/or service received.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and other relevant bodies to ensure that the allocated area(s) maximum sales potential is realized
• Answering queries in writing or verbally about a product or service for Shutdown and Rentals
• Organizing and attending Road Shows / Expos
• Establishing a network of contacts to ensure that job descriptions are continually met
• Ensuring that positive relationships are established, even with antagonistic individuals
• Maintaining a positive working relationship with members of your team and/or colleagues

Requirements

• Matric or higher
• Electrical engineering OR N6 electrical/electronic qualification
•  ? 1 years’ experience
•  Previous Customer or Field service experience preferred.
•  Turn-Around (TAR) Experience
•  Ability to work with/towards budgets/targets
• Valid Driver’s Licence
