POSITION INFO:

Position: Bookkeeper

Our client, an accounting firm based in London, United Kingdom, is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team as soon as possible.

This position is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to Financial Accounting team
• Maintaining accurate financial records, including recording all transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements.
• Producing monthly management reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, and providing analysis to client for decision-making.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting and tracking actual performance against budget.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and legislation.
• Preparing annual financial statements for clients.
• Preparing annual and provisional tax calculations for clients.
• Communicating effectively with clients, providing financial information, and answering any queries.
• Performing any ad hoc financial analysis or reporting as required.

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

• A diploma or degree in bookkeeping, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Affinity for using technology and software that increases automation and efficiency of work.

The position fully remote 

Salary: R 18 000-R22 000 depending on experience

Starting date: As soon as possible.
