A world-renowned commercial risk company is in search of a Financial Accountant with extensive reinsurance experience and adept at creating reporting packages for clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

My client is a leading commercial risk company with a strong focus on short-term insurance and excellent customer services. The company has offices in several counties and growth potential is substantial. The ideal candidate must have reinsurance and credit control experience with a strong financial accounting foundation.

As a Reinsurance Accountant you will be responsible for:
  • Reinsurance payments
  • Recover claims
  • Journal entries
  • Financial accounting
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prompt reporting and precise management of all client account statements
  • Premium modifications in line with contract terms
  • Organize and develop excellent working knowledge of reporting and processing systems and handle and maintain outstanding communication
 
Job Experience and Skills Required:

  • B.Com Degree
  • Extensive reinsurance experience is non-negotiable
  • Credit control experience
  • Independent thinker
