A well-established insurance giant seeks a Reinsurance Accountant to join their finance team based in Cape Town.
In this role, you will mainly be responsible for the financial administration and reinsurance technical accounting functions.
Some duties will include, but not limited to journals and trail balance, accounts payable and receivable, EFTs, bank statements and balancing to cashbook, preparation of audit papers and reconciliation of the balance sheet.

Education:
BCom / BCompt in Accounting or Finance
Skills & Experience:
1 to 2 years'' experience in a reinsurance / short term insurance environment
Insurance industry experience is a non-negotiable
SAP / Accpac experience will be preferred
Strong personality
Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment
Team player
