Reieiving Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Company in Germiston seeks an experienced Receiving Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily warehouse receiving and housekeeping activities.Working closely with the receiving clerk you will be receiving shipments from Suppliers and returns from customers, planning where goods received will be put away and replenishing bins.

• Matric
• Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management

Requirments

• Minimum of 5 years’ senior warehouse receiving experience.
• Able to reconcile and work with numbers.
• Great attention to detail.
• Good communication, organisational and planning skills.
• Ability to manage time, work independently and implement processes and procedures
  
• Team Work
  
• Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
• Counterbalance (Forklift) License Code F1A preferable.
• Experienced user of SYSPRO inventory modules and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to work on feet for long periods of time.
• Good physical condition

Duties

• Comparing purchase orders with invoices and packaging lists.
• Inspect deliveries to ensure goods received are in accordance with packing lists / invoices.
• Unload, count and record the receipt of shipped goods.
• Record and report shortages and damages that may occur when receiving shipmentsfrom suppliersor returns from customers.
• Plan where goods received will be put-away into specific bin locations.
• Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
• Maintain bin system within the warehouse.
• Maintain FIFO when replenishing stock.
• Replenish stock on shelfs from bulk locations.
• Stock taking and generalcontrol of stock.
• Control safety and housekeeping within the warehouse.
• Ensure warehouse equipment is in good working order
