Regulatory Officer - Pesticides

SUMMARY:

An established agrochemical manufacturer is seeking an experienced Regulatory Officer to compile and maintain product registrations according to relevant legislations within South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a tertiary qualification in Agriculture
• Minimum 3 years’ regulatory experience within the Agricultural industry will be required
• Strong administrative and organizational skills are essential
• Good verbal and written communication skills are important
• Must be computer literate

• Compiling product registrations in accordance with Act 36 of 1947 and other applicable legislation in South Africa and Sub-Saharan African countries.
• Managing and maintaining current registered product registrations.
• Performing product stewardship and proof reading of all product labels, trial protocols, trial reports as well as other relevant documentation.
• Liaising with personnel from the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries with regards to product registrations.
• Attending Croplife meetings as well as liaising with relevant industry stakeholders.
