Registered Nurse; Clinical Nurse Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Registered Nurse; Theatre Qualified / Experienced Sisters to join this growing Theatre and advance your career both financially and in terms or your current Theatre Nursing exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

Scrubbing
Performs restored weekend duties / emergency relief on call duties
Provide safe, clean and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors
Liaise with ward manager on matters relating to patient care
Assist the coaching of junior staff within the Unit
To take responsibility of Theatre and cases on a daily basis where you are allocated

Requirements of Position:

Must be a Registered Nurse, registered with SANC
Must preferably be in possession of a Diploma in Operating Room Technique
Have at least 5 years private hospital experience in theatre as a Scrub Nurse

Answer phones in a professional manner, providing answers when possible and transferring calls or taking messages when needed
Handling outbound calls in a timely and friendly manner
