Registered Nurse - Durban South, KwaZulu-Natal

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, is looking for a passionate and committed Registered Nurse to join their team.

Requirements:
  • Must be a registered nurse
  • Relevant Tertiary Degree
  • Completed Grade 12
  • Valid Drivers License and own transport
  • Willing to travel to surrounding areas
  • Must speak English and Afrikaans
  • Willing to do training
  • Registered assessor at HWSETA will be a bonus
About you:

  • Good communication skills

  • Computer Literate in MS Office
  • Easily adaptable
  • Dedicated
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
  • Manage medications, provide vaccinations and treatments to patients
  • Communicate with medical professionals
  • Communicate with medical professional to create a Plan of Care for each patient
  • Consider all factors such as age, emotional stability etc. when providing treatments
  • When needed, contribute to the patient's medical record
  • Handle complaints / issues and inquiries from patients and/or family members
  • Keep record and maintain medical stock and other staff members
  • Counsel patients during treatments and after treatments
