Registered Nurse – CSSD Supervisor

• Checking off-duties for CCCD staff and processing/approving timecards on Kronos
• To arrange and conduct in-service training and training programs
• To attend and facilitate Unit Orientation programs
• To adhere-to and implement CSSD policies and SOP’s
• Prevention of noise from equipment, instruments or trolleys
• Have special regard for patients and working Theatres with regard to noise or opening doors
• Ensure and maintain a high and effective working standard in CSSD.
• Ensure and maintain up to date knowledge regarding cleaning methods and Theatre equipment
• Ensuring staff adhere to and make use of protective clothing provided
• Ensuring correct storage and use of cleaning materials
• Handling of CAPEX and ordering of Equipment
• Ordering of internal and external stock form Pharmacy
• Capturing My Market orders
• Loading of work orders on SAP

Education and Experience

 Preferred

• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse or equivalent NQF 7 qualification
• Relevant qualification within a specialist area would be an advantage
• 2-3 years relevant experience within the Nursing discipline/CSSD
• Previous experience within a supervisory role will be an advantage
