FMCG company seeks a Regional Sales/Ops Manager for their DC, Must own a vehicle, be Trustworthy and reliable and be computer literate.  Excellent Microsoft Office

• Pivot tables and Excel, PowerPoint, draft presentations, extract business info and translate into a readable workable format and conduct sales meetings with the above info. Sales Certificate/Diploma a must.

• The individual must have the following Business Acumen / Experience:

  • Be very diligent in their work
  • Be able and comfortable to negotiate with top level Management or Store Owners            
  • 5 – 6 years management position
  • 8 years minimum handling a sales team
  • Recent Customer Reporting knowledge (no more than 2 years absence from a Channel)
    • PnP Site Days Cover report
    • Shoprite Webby Report
    • Spar insights Report
    • Makro Dispo
    • Must have called on PnP (family and corporate), Spar and OK Channel, Foodlovers (optional) Shoprite /Checkers as well as Independent/General Trade (i.e. Wholesale, Cash n Carry)
    • Relationships within these channels will be advantageous
    • Extensive knowledge of the Western Cape and has called on local and country stores will be advantageous
    • Key Accounts Management will be advantageous
    • Must be able to do forecasting, budgets, and targets
    • Understanding Margin, Rebates, and Trading Terms
    • Handling of Promotional Spend/Adhoc Spend
    • Understanding of ROI
