POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities will include:

• Provide leadership and strategic alignment to ensure realisation of business objectives and goals
• Measure, monitor and report on key performance indicators
• Interface with customers at a strategic commercial level, at product development and query resolution levels
• Improve productivity through people management, improved quality, equipment capacity and maintenance
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by leading the plant and applying group standards
• Develop and achieve production planning systems and procedures to achieve operations excellence targets
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Benchmark nationally and internationally against best practices and implement appropriate strategies
• Drive business growth plans
• Monitor supply chain activities to manage costs and efficiencies
• Financial control to achieve target results

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Management Development training (advantageous)
• Production related qualification (advantageous)
• 10 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
• 5 years at leadership level in multiple operations
• Experience in preventative maintenance processes in multiple operations
• Microsoft Office, excel and capable of managing through production systems (JDE knowledge)
• Asset Care experience
