Regional Manager- North West- (Rustenburg Depot)

SUMMARY:
The purpose of the job is to manage the entire depot function to ensure optimal customer service within the given operational and financial parameters. Lead and manage sales, admin and operational functions for the Rustenburg depot and provide the required guidance and support to staff.

POSITION INFO:

Key Performance Indicators

1. Operations

• Responsible for successfully implementing new projects on site
• Responsible for optimal operations of assigned facilities.
• Responsible for ensuring that all handled products / wastes are compliant with all regulations.
• Overseeing and maintaining waste acceptance and processing procedures.
• Dealing with both internal and external vendors and suppliers.
• Ensuring all activities are in line with internal and external client requirements
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes
• Review environmental audits for facilities, such as storage, handling and transportation
• Ensure process control through laboratory operations and personnel.
• Implement and maintain SHEQ directives and regulations on site.

2. Industrial Relations

• Recruitment and selection of staff with assistance of HR
• Training of staff to ensure all employees are adequately trained for their existing. 
• Comminication and information to employees
• Disciplinary and grievance handling that will result in the resoulution of the problems

3. Administration

• Correct and timeous submission of reports
• All purchasing documentation according to procedures and administration limits
• All operational documentation correctly and timeously completed.

4. Health and Safety

• Compliance to all safety standards, policies and procedures
• Reporting of statistics and accident/incident investigation

5. Finance

• Lead the effective management of the functional areas to maximize financial performance while upholding quality.
• Compile, forecast and control annual facilities budgets.
• Actively manage finances, budgets and related accounting systems of allocated facilities by ensuring the appropriate financial controls are in place and
• Monitoring client debtors days and ensuring timeous payments
• Compilation of annual budgets and RE forcasting when required
• Manage operating cost and overhead costs in line with approved budget.
• maintained to control overheads and expenditure, manage cash flow and ensure profitability.
• Accurate and timeous reporting to Head Office on agreed deadlines, which clearly explain operational effectiveness, trends and variances.
• Managing and controlling the expenditure of the Depot and operations according to financial procedures to minimise expenditure.

6. Fleet Management

• Responsible for daily vehicles management, ensure vehicles operations and maintenance; support efficient daily business, be responsible for the consequence.
• Schedule new vehicle route, setup fuel cost baseline, optimize vehicle management pattern, and promote efficiency on vehicle usage
• Ensure optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency

7.General
