Regional Credit Control Clerk

SUMMARY:
Our client within the Motor Industry has an EE opportunity available for a Regional Credit Control Clerk in the Randburg, Johannesburg area.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

• Matric (Standard 10)
• Tertiary Education (Certification) – Administrative / Financial / Client Services related
• Computer literacy – Excel, Word & Email is essential
• Recognized Finance / Credit Control / Debt Collection related qualification – Distinct advantage
• At least 2 years credit control knowledge and experience an advantage
• Debt collecting experience is essential
• Computer literacy – Excel, Word & Email is essential
• Must be meticulous in carrying out tasks/instructions etc.
• Above average verbal and written communication and listening skills
• Strong account reconciliation experience
• Ability to withstand pressure

• Manage allocated debtors book
• Conduct telephonic debt collection
• Ensure adherence to the Credit Control Policy and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Handle full function Credit Control
• Carry out account reconciliation
• Enter into and follow up on settlement agreements
• Receive and bank payments received from clients
• Prepare hand over / referral documents and refer accounts to legal
