Are you an experienced accountant with working knowledge in the manufacturing space and possess strong management accounting skills? If yes, then this role in a reputable manufacturing concern as a Regional Accountant is perfect.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Regional Accountant will be responsible for reviewing the monthly cost packs to ensure stock is treated correctly and review the validity and accuracy. The Regional accountant will be responsible for assisting with budget preparation and ensuring line items are accurate as well as preparing monthly reconciliations for stock, cash sales, petty cash and accruals. The successful candidate will also be responsible for continuously reviewing controls and processes and evaluating expenditures and ensuring credit notes are issued correctly.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• BCom Accounting
• Studying towards CIMA/Completed CIMA

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• At least 3 years experience in the field of Cost Accounting/Management Accounting
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in the manufacturing/chemical industry is preferred
• Experience with assisting in yearly internal and external audits
• Experience in reviewing cost packs
• Maintaining and developing stakeholder relationships
• Experience with the budgeting process and reconciliations
