RefrigerationTechnician

SUMMARY:
This position requires someone with extensive prior Refrigeration Technical experience and has subsequently moved into Sales or has the personality traits and ability to successfully make a career change to Sales.

POSITION INFO:

• Young, Strong Personality, Sociable, Patient, Adaptable.
• Focal ability to interact with customers – position is focussed purely on Refrigeration-specific business development, sales generation and technical assistance where necessary.
• Deal with & establish relationships with Key Accounts – Technical Advice and where required, suggestions for repair (then referred to Technical Department).
• Prospect, Secure & Drive Sales Opportunities.
• Negotiate and Quote Refrigeration PMP SLAs’ and drive the growth of these opportunities through relationship building & expertise.
• Prior 4 - 5 years hands-on Refrigeration Technical experience
• Be prepared to travel and work long hours when necessary.
• Specifying correct applications for Client requirements & lots of Technical interaction without necessarily doing the repair/installation, may have to oversee installations from time to time.

Academic/Qualification Requirements:

• Must have SA Matric – Minimum Diploma, Preferably a Bachelors’ Degree Entry level pass.
• Must have a formal qualification (Trade tested – RED SEAL/ACCRA qualification)

-          Refrigeration qualified.

-          Electrically qualified.

-          HVAC/Chiller Unit experience?

-          VVR Unit experience?

• Sales/Marketing Diploma, Minimum Sales/Selling Skills Training Courses.

• Remuneration / Benefits

  Initial 2-Year Contract subject to securing a Nigeria STR Visa and further subject to a successful 6-Month Probation Period.

  US$ 2000.00 per month (your tax is around 17%  per month)

  US$500.00 local currency per month for food, alcohol, smokes etc…

  US$300.00 medical aid

  3 return flights per year (every 4^th month)

  25 working days leave per year (5 weeks)

  Xmas/New Year period (part of Annual Leave) is rotational and not every year

  Transport is shared , but there is always transport available

  Shared accommodation. Private Bedroom en-suite

  Fully serviced accommodation which includes House-help/Cook
