Refrigeration Technician

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Meat Importing industry, has an opportunity available for a Refrigeration Technician in the Pretoria area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Matric/Grade 12
• N5-N6 (Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration)
• Red seal certified Millwright
• 5 years Mechanical experience with preferred qualification OR
• 10 years experience without preferred qualification
• 5+ years preferred qualification with red seal certification
• CAT A valid accreditation
• Valid Code B driver''s license and own vehicle
• Be able to work at sub zero conditions (requires medical clearance)
• Be able to work at heights
• Be able to work in confined spaces/hazardous areas
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Computer Literate - Excel, Outlook, CMMS, PLC
• General building maintenance knowledge: Plumbing, plastering and painting
• Extensive knowledge on electrical three phase and single phase
• Extensive knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety rules

• Maintaining of Ammonia refrigeration system components
• Upkeep and maintenance of building and facility
• Full maintenance of sub ambient facility
• Asset management and control
