SUMMARY:
The position is based in Phalaborwa Limpopo

POSITION INFO:

Purpose:
The incumbent will work as part of a team, which will be responsible for the mechanical maintenance at Surface Refrigeration section.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Refrigeration Artisan
• Valid driver''''s licence.
• Preferably, have a valid first aid certificate.
• Minimum of three years'''' experience working in Ammonia R717 Refrigeration plants.
• Ammonia R717 handling certificate
• Refrigeration R-certificate(s)
• Knowledge of York and Howden screw compressors
• Knowledge of Kaeser screw Compressors
• Knowledge of testing pressure vessels

Duties:

• Carrying out repairs and maintenance on all mechanical equipment including but not limited to ammonia refrigeration plants, air compressors ,overhead cranes, pumps, belt and screw conveyors, main ventilation fans, geared drives, hydraulic systems ,water and air pipe lines, batch plant, calorifiers and valves .
• Assisting supervisor in compliance with planned maintenance system.
• Ensuring adherence to SHEQ standards.
• Maintaining and fault finding on chiller plant systems and performing legal duties
• Performing standby duties
