A leader in the FMCG sector is seeking experienced Red Seal Packaging Millwright to join their plant in Delmas on a 3-month assignment.

Must have a great track record as reference checks will be conducted upfront.

What You’ll Do

As Packing Millwright, you’ll be the go-to expert for maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment across the plant. Your mission: ensure continuous operation of all installations and drive the effectiveness of our Maintenance System.

Your daily impact will include:

Completing maintenance schedules and inspections to maintain 98% plant uptime
Performing root cause analysis and driving reliability improvements
Installing and removing equipment as needed
Supporting safe, efficient operations in line with Loss Control and Maintenance Policies
Commissioning new installations and ensuring safe functionality
Communicating issues and changes to team leads and stakeholders
Conducting proactive walkabouts and 5S visual management to spot threats before they strike

What You Bring

We’re looking for a dynamic, detail-driven technician with:

Millwright Red Seal (Trade Test)
5+ years in a multi-disciplinary FMCG engineering environment (Food Industry preferred)
N4–N6 qualification (advantageous)
Hands-on experience with packing equipment like Ishida multi-heads, sandiacre, loma, tapers, box makers, and more
Knowledge of weighing systems, PLC hardware, 480V circuits, and instrument calibration
Familiarity with SAP PM or similar CMMS
Ability to program/configure Servo and VFDs (a plus!)
