The incumbent is responsible for championing all Talent Management activities in the business

Talent Management

• Implement initiatives to attract and retain talent in the organization.
• Implement employer branding and positioning projects.
• Design frameworks for employee on-boarding and support implementation.
• Consult with leadership and the organization on initiatives to drive employee effectiveness.
• Develop methods to ensure that performance management aligns with organizational goals. The incumbent is responsible for championing all Talent Management activities in the business.

Talent Management Administration

• Keep up to date information related to Talent Conversations.
• Compile Talent Management Reports.
• Guide management on Succession planning and
• Keep records related to Talent Management activities

Staffing

• Provide line managers with advice and support pertaining to the acquisition of staff within the boundaries of the relevant policies, practices and procedures.
• Assist with the compiling of a shortlist of potential candidates together with the line manager.
• Prepare the required reports for approval and offers for prospective employees.
• Conduct induction for every new employee in line with the Induction policy and procedure.
• Work closely with the Senior HR Manager, Senior Management and Mid Management to plan and implement company talent acquisition strategy.
• Work alongside Senior HR Manager to update the company’s policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing.
• Conduct sourcing activities in order to fill open positions.
• Work with HR and Management to anticipate future employment needs.
• Design and manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, assessments, interviews etc.)
• Conduct interviews and relevant recruitment assessments.
• Review employment applications and complete all relevant background checks
• Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities.
• Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates.
• Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
• Administer and submit all recruitment paperwork for new employees.
• Generate monthly updates for the company''''s Management about upcoming talent acquisition initiatives.
• Create monthly reports on key recruitment metrics.
• Communicate regularly with the Senior HR Manager to get a clear view of the company''''s hiring needs and organizational goals.
• Work closely with the marketing department to develop creative ways for attracting talent.
• Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities.
• Any other ad hoc tasks that might be assigned to you from time to time by Senior HR Manager.

Human Resources Policies

• Provide input into the development of Human Resources policies and procedures in partnership with Management.

Human Resources Administration

• Perform the day-to-day Human Resources administration of policies and procedures.
• Attend to queries and follow up with the line managers and employees in line with the time frames as outlines in the HR SLA.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of HR events

Requirements

Minimum Qualification:

Matric NQF level 7 HRM / Industrial Psychology qualification or equivalent qualification

Ideal Qualification:

Post graduate Degree in Social Sciences/Industrial Psychology

Experience: Minimum 3 years’ Experience in Talent Management or recruitment
