Our international team of over 50 consultants operate from our offices in Johannesburg, Casablanca, Port Louis and Paris, providing a full search and selection offering. We have extensive experience and a proven track record in sourcing the best locally-based nationals, returnee nationals, in-country expatriates and candidates based overseas for our clients. Description

As a Recruitment Consultant within the Sub-Saharan Africa team, you will be responsible for recruiting senior to executive professionals across various industries in the region.

Your role will be to assess and respond to the needs of each client or assignment by providing them with value adding solutions and ensuring timely delivery. Based in Sandton, Johannesburg as a specialist recruitment consultant, you will:

• Identify and develop client/business relationships across the Sub-Saharan Africa region in a competitive environment
• Key countries will include but not limited to: Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Angola, Mozambique and Nigeria.
• Advise on and sell the most appropriate solution for attracting candidates
• Build and maintain a candidate database of talent both local and international.
• Create and deliver solutions based on the needs of each particular client / assignment.
• Source suitable candidates through multiple channels; social media, headhunting, networking and referrals.
• Brief candidates on the opportunities and careers offered by our clients.
• You will manage the recruitment process from interview to offer stage and beyond and that includes sourcing and interviewing candidates, negotiating salary packages and presenting suitable candidates to clients.
• Offer CV, interview and general career advice building long term relationships with both candidates and clients.
• Network to acquire and grow business and market knowledge that can be converted into commercial opportunities.

Your goal is dual - to learn your market, and to build deep relationships with clients and candidates in your space. You will work as part of an extremely passionate team to maximise Page Group''s commercial performance in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Profile

To be shortlisted for the position of Recruitment Consultant in the SSA division you will need to meet the following criteria:

• 2-4 years'' experience as a recruitment or sales consultant. You could also come from industry / talent acquisition if you meet other requirements and have a strong desire to build a career at a leading recruitment consultancy
• A Bachelor''s degree
• Track record of high personal billings or consistently achieving targets
• Track record of building and managing relevant and successful client / candidate relationships
• Genuine leadership skills with ability and desire to take on a bigger role in the future
• Strong networking and client development abilities
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Team work based attitude
