Recruitment Consultant

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Recruitment Consultant for a position based in East London, Eastern Cape.

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• 3 years’ sales consulting experience in the service industry, with recruitment being a huge advantage.  Ideally the candidate should have connections in local business. 
• Matric, drivers licence and own vehicle
• Must have good communication skills with an outgoing personality, and willing to do client visits
• Have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
• Must have good MS Office skills with Placement Partner and Pnet experience beneficial
• Good admin skills and attention to detail

 

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• The candidate would be the vital link between clients and candidates. The role is demanding and diverse
• Use sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies
• Visiting clients (existing and new) to build and develop positive relationships
• Developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, work culture and environment
• Drawing up job vacancies for advertising purposes in a range of media
• Using candidate databases to match the right person to the client''s vacancy
• Receiving and reviewing applications, interviewing candidates and creating a shortlist for the client
• Reference checks and checking the suitability of applicants before submission to the client
• Briefing the candidates regarding the position applied for
• Reviewing prepared CVs and references to forward to clients
• Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client
• Informing candidates about the results of interviews
• Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between clients and candidates

Salary:  Negotiable + commission (according to set targets) + fuel for work purposes.
