SUMMARY:
An opportunity is available for a Recruiter - Perm Generalist to be based in the Centurion area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

  • Matric
  • 7 to 9 years’ recruitment industry experience with specific emphasis on technical industry knowledge FMCG, Engineering, Manufacturing, Petrochemical etc.
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Performance and objective driven individual
  • Deadline driven
  • Third language will be an advantage
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and candidates
  • Deadline driven and willing to work under extreme pressure
  • Presentation skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Working with diary as per the Company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for sourcing of skills in line with positions received from clients (Networking, Portals, and adverts) within set time frames
  • Generate an average of 15 CV’s per week
  • Conduct research on every client given to recruit for prior to sourcing of skills to ensure you understand their business and culture
  • Network to build a strong database of skills
  • Continuously build a strong database relevant to the industry that you are responsible for to ensure quick turnaround times that will result in increased revenue
  • Place adverts for jobs allocated to ensure attraction of skill
  • Contact possible candidates, establish interest and interview for relevant positions within the desired time frames
  • Conduct detailed, competency-based interviews (target and selection) ensuring all detail and volumes are reflected
  • Ensure that verification checks are conducted on all candidates (References, Kroll, Criminal checks etc.) as per company standard policies and procedures
  • Ensure adherence to and compliance of desk process
  • Daily capturing of database on Placement Partner (or any other system being used) Responsible for generating of sales lead as instructed by Manager (relevant industries)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to the Company quality process
  • Responsible for coordinating of interviews on clients’ request
  • Ensure that candidates attending interviews with clients have been met by either Consultant or Account Executive prior to meeting our client
  • Ensure that candidates are prepared for interviews at least 48 hours before attending the interviews with clients (sharing of job specification, company information, culture of environment and interview style)
  • Provide candidates with feedback after attending interview
  • Share the application progress with the candidates to ensure continuous engagement and interest
  • Ensure that accurate salary information is captured when submitting CV’s
  • Negotiate salary packages as and when required
  • Send letter of regret to candidates that are unsuccessful
  • Continuously update candidates on progress / feedback
  • Assist with telesales for new business when required
  • Marketing of candidates to potential clients when required
  • Meet with clients / Line Managers when needed to brief on positions
  • Conduct plant / site visits with clients to better understand requirements and operations
  • Complete daily activity sheet for output monitoring purposes
  • Ensure effective usage of Placement Partner
