Recruiter Officer

SUMMARY:
An opportunity for a Recruiter Officer is available in the Rustenburg area.

POSITION INFO:
Inherent Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years Recruitment and Selection experience (internal or external) across all categories / discipline, of which 3 years should be specific focus on volume/bulk recruitment of experienced underground mining Operators
• Minimum 5 years semi-skilled recruitment and selection experience
• Computer literate (Advanced MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle essential
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and candidates
• Deadline driven and willing to work under extreme pressure
• Strong approach to administrative tasks
• Second and/or third official language - preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and recruitment of semi-skilled and skilled placements
• Maintaining a tracker spreadsheet from sourcing to placement
• Ability to match skills to client requirements across mining within the required time frames
• Compiling of adverts and screening of response
• Networking to ensure strong database of skills
• Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates daily
• Conduct of references on candidates
• Foster long-term relationships with candidates
• Review and understand technical job requirements
• Ensure that candidates attending interviews with clients are prepared 48 hours prior to attendance
• Format resumes of candidates who meet client expectations
