SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Receptionist/Admin Assistant to manage their front desk and provide essential administrative support to their Managing Director and broader team.
- Salary: R11 000 - R13 000 p/m (Dependent on Experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management: Manage the switchboard, direct calls, and provide a positive first impression for the brand.
- Executive Support: Manage the MD’s diary, prioritize business matters, and anticipate office needs.
- Meetings & Minutes: Prepare the boardroom, coordinate daily 08h00 meetings, and compile formal minutes and task lists.
- Office Administration: Oversee stationery and grocery inventory, manage courier bookings (DHL), and maintain updated contact databases.
- Travel Coordination: Assist with hotel research, visa documentation, and preparing travel itineraries.
- Departmental Support: Provide ad-hoc assistance to Logistics (shipping docs), Sales (invoicing), and Accounts (reconciliations).
POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
- Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
- Strong proficiency in typing reports and managing digital diaries.
- Ability to maintain a high level of trust and confidentiality.
- Basic knowledge of Debtors and Creditors is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with international customers and suppliers.
