SUMMARY:
A well-established Commercial Media House requires the above to manage and oversee the reception and office administration within the Company interacting with celebrities and well-known clientele.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


Minimum requirements for the role:
  • The successful candidate must have a matric with good attention to detail.
  • Previous experience having worked as a Receptionist or in an Office Administrator role or related role managing the reception as well as all office administration is essential.
  • Must be computer literate and have basic Excel skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and have good communication skills as the person will be liaising with Customers.
  • The successful candidate should have a confident and likeable personality being able to build relationships both internally with colleagues and customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Assisting the Station Manager with general clerical work including preparing letters and hospitality supplies ordering, as required.
  • Dealing with ‘what’s on’ information and information for on-air promotion.
  • Greeting a wide range of visitors, celebrities etc. including local contributors and listeners.  
  • Performing a full range of reception duties including answering the switchboard, record keeping, administrative and clerical work.
  • Extending and demonstrating good customer service by pleasantly, professionally and efficiently answering the telephone and greeting guests and visitors.
  • Developing sufficient familiarity with the Stations' formats to be able to field general programming questions from listeners.
  • Developing a familiarity of Station events, promotions and contests.
  • Assisting callers by answering questions or by referring calls to the appropriate person.
Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
