JOB DESCRIPTION:

Camps Bay Retreat in Camps Bay is seeking a receptionist to join their bespoke team. If you see yourself working in one of Cape Town's most luxurious locations then this position is for you!

Assist guests at hotel/village with personal services. May take messages, arrange or give advice on transportation, business services, or entertainment, or monitor guest requests for housekeeping and maintenance.

Qualification:

Grade 12

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the same or similar position

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Front Desk

Checking in and checking out of guests on Opera.
Perform office duties on a temporary basis when needed.
Foreign exchange.
Relief switchboard and night audit when necessary.
Perform clerical duties as required
Relay and Route written messages
Answer all incoming calls

Finances

Ensure accurate billing.
Take payment from guest.
If applicable ensure accurate change provided.

Guest Relations

Room guests
Receive, store, and deliver luggage and mail.
Pick up and deliver items or run errands for guests ensuring excellent guest relation services.
Upsell all Food and Beverage outlets, Mint Wellness and other services offered by the company.

Concierge

Make dining and other reservations for guests and obtain tickets for events.
Provide information about local features such as shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreational destinations.
Make bookings for Mint Wellness as required.
Make travel arrangements for sightseeing and other tours.
Make suggestions for new tourist attractions/tourism services.
Visit all surrounding facilities and other properties within the group.
