Receptionist

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Manufacturing industry is seeking to employ a dynamic and motivated Receptionist to join their team in East London.

POSITION INFO:
Basic Duties as follows:

•  Answering of Switchboard and directing calls to the correct people.
• Taking messages and following up to ensure customer support and satisfaction.
• Assisting walk-in customers and drivers
• Ordering of Stationery
• Controlling Stationery, tea & coffee and toiletries issued to staff
• Occasional booking of accommodation / bus tickets
• Sorting mail and Filing
• Ad-Hoc Admin duties as required 

Basic Requirements as follows:

• Candidate must be proficient in English (read, write, speak) and an additional language (either Afrikaans or Isixhosa) would be an advantage; and must have good telephone etiquette.
• Candidate must have basic computer knowledge, including Windows, and Office programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Candidate must have good filing skills, and be able to follow instructions accurately.
• Candidate must be neat and professional in both appearance and manners.
• Must have the ability to interact with a wide range of people in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Must be reliable and on-time and should be willing to assist in other areas should the need arise.
• The position is a basic one but should the candidate show interest and potential, additional duties can be considered for advancement.
